What is Blitz?

BLiTZ is a simple and extensible library to create Bayesian Neural Network Layers (based on whats proposed in Weight Uncertainty in Neural Networks paper) on PyTorch.

What was the impact of the Blitz?

The Blitz. The stoical manner in which the people of Britain—especially in London—endured the Blitz made a deep impression on neutral commentators, and the radio broadcasts of U.S. journalist Ed Murrow helped persuade the U.S. public that Britain was not a beaten nation and would continue the fight against Nazi Germany.

Why should I use Blitz layers and Utils?

By using BLiTZ layers and utils, you can add uncertanity and gather the complexity cost of your model in a simple way that does not affect the interaction between your layers, as if you were using standard PyTorch.

When did the Blitz end?

Although there were some comparatively slight raids later in 1941, the most notable one on July 27, the May 10–11 attack marked the conclusion of the Blitz. When the Blitz began, the government enforced a blackout in an attempt to make targeting more difficult for German night bombers.
